Failure message True Image 2013

Thread needs solution

I keep getting this failure notice.
I checked the disk where the backup should go and everything looks fine.

Fred, this is exactly one of the problems I often have with TI 2013. And this morning I had it again. Unfortunately I cannot tell you the exact solution. I only remember that, depending upon the situation, I encountered three different approaches which led to a solution:

1 - start TI 2013 as Administrator (SHIFT-left click etc)
or
2 - check the user name and password fields in the Settings/Options/Windows Account window of the backup task (I often see that the password has been corrupted and shows only 1 asterix)
or
3 - (and this one is difficult to describe) look for a 'Credentials' or 'Test connection' option somewhere at the bottom of a Window. I know, this sounds complicated, but in my case I saw this option somewhere this morning and opted for 'Test' first and then 'Reconnect' or 'Connect' and suddenly the task worked fine again. Unfortunately this option comes and goes, because I have seen it before but I cannot find it. You may expect it when you go into Settings window for the backup task

I am sorry that my suggestions may look cryptical, but that's just because the way Acronis works. Bugs, bugs, bugs and even more... There are so many that I even cannot reproduce an error I found.

I hope that using either 1, 2 or 3 gets access to the tib file working again.

Thanks a lot Jan.
I couldn't find any of that stuff.
You're right about this program. It's a bitch to use.
I believe I will go back to Norton Ghost, at least you can get some support.
Fred

Fred,
I am assuming that drive L is present and visible and recognized by TI.
What type disk is drive L? Is it NAS, etc?

Please post a screen capture of the folder containing the 19 backup slices. Sort by date/time.
