FAT F/S Split .tib into 6 Files - How to Restore?

Thread needs solution

Hi all.

I have 6 x .tib files from ATIH 2010.

I built my PC and made the backup a few years ago, and placed them (stupidly) on a FAT Slave Drive. When I did the original backup, I can't remember if I pointed Acronis to the Slave Drive and it split them automatically. I assume I did, but may be wrong.

The FAT F/S has split them into separate files of 4GB. The total backup image is just short of 24GB, but as mentioned, it's split them into the 6 separate files.

I don't want to start wiping my PC only to find the backups don't work (I'm pretty sure they're not usable in their current format?)

Does anyone know if I can do anything please? IE Join them all back up, or preferably join them back up, but then split them again into 3 x DVD images that will be usable (I can't convert the slave to NTFS) for a restore?

If it's a no-go please let me know and I'll start all over again with a fresh install. However that would be painful.

Cheers!

1. If they were broken into pieces by the program, then, no they are not designed to be put into one piece. They must remain in pieces and must remain all together in one folder. You can copy onto DVD for storage but the files must be put back into one folder for any restoration.

Often times, the cause of being split is that the storage disk is a FAT32 files system, whereas, if storage disk is NTFS. only one large file will be created.

Any chance you used a utility to break them apart and it was not the program that separated them?

Without a successful validation, there is slight chance any value.
