Fatal error boot drive (partition) not found

Thread needs solution

I recently bought a Crucial MX100 SSD, which came with Acronis True Image 2014. After installing my SSD, the first problem I encountered was that the icon in My Computer for the SSD is a yellow disk (see image). Is this a problem?

After, I attempted to clone my old HDD to my SSD, restarted the computer, and ran into the "fatal error boot drive (partition) not found. Can someone help me resolve this issue? Thanks.

Greetings... the icon you see is not a problem. If it bothers you, see this article:

Regarding cloning... Please use the recommend procedure for this operation:

This KB article is for laptop, but the premise for desktop is the same. Use Acronis Boot Media. Put destination drive in place of current boot drive. After clone, disconnect your old drive, before booting into windows for the first time.
