As you have a fresh Windows install you wish to save as a backup, here's what I would do (and in fact what I did when I reinstalled Windows).

Download the Rescue Media from your Acronis account. Boot from it and create a full disk backup. You'll have a backup of "fresh" Windows install that you can always restore. Then, set about figuring out why you're getting errors on installation.

Hello Marek,

welcome to Acronis Forum!

tuttle, thank you for helping!

Marek, since initial installation of  True Image 2013 by Acronis caused Blue Screen, I would suggest you  contacting Acronis Support. The issue might be system specific and additional information (logs, reports) will be needed.

The attached log (as far as I understood created during second installation attempt) shows that there are some Acronis entries in Registry, that cannot be removed automatically. Probably these entries were created during initial installation.

Please, follow tuttle's advice and download .iso file of Acronis bootable media under your account, burn it to a CD and create a system backup.

Then using this instruction clean up your system and start an installation anew.

Should you need any assistance, please feel free to contact Acronis Support.

Thank you.
