Finding wrong NAS

Thread needs solution

I created a backup to my NAS - \\LS420DCBE

Just to be sure, after it completed, I asked TrueImage 2013 to VALIDATE

Acronis then required me to AUTHENTICATE SETTINGS, but specified the path \\ls-wtg473, which is the name of an older NAS that I no longer have :-/

The backup routine was run using the path \\LS420DCBE\Archive\etc ie the correct NAS and correct directory, so how come Acronis found an old path from a new backup routine ?

Any thoughts gratefully received

Greetings,
The information is cached somewhere on your PC. From a previous acronis install, back up or because at one time this UNC path existed. Netlogon, run dialog, windows explorer? Something like that... easily correctable.

Thanks for that.

I tried a Acronis repair, but it didn't correct the issue.

I did an install, then reinstalled, and it seems fine now.
