Folders are empty after recovery

Thread needs solution

I am using True Image Home 2011. When I recover folders to my hard drive, the folders are empty. However, the folders contain files when I view the backup file. Any ideas?

Ryan,

How do you do the recovery? Have you tried to simply copy the folder from the TIB file to its desired location?

I have used the "Explore and Recover" feature for an archvied continuous backup, and the "Explore all versions" for an archived full or differential backup.

Hi Ryan
I had this once and the problem was that the files in the folders were set to Hidden, when i copied them over from the backup to the hard drive and then changed to show hidden files & folders they showed up.

Might be worth a look?

I have the same problem. After selecting files & folders to download, ATI takes some time while (apparently) compiling the archive file to download, then downloads in a split second. The resulting zip file on my computer is empty and Windows says it is "Invalid archive." When I view my backed up files online, they are there, but, I cannot retrieve them as a groupt. I can however retrieve them one-at-a-time. This, of course, is NOT ACCEPTABLE. I am sick and tired of the constant unreliability of Acronis! As a reliable backup solution, Acronis is an EPIC FAIL!!! (My files are NOT set to Hidden)
