FreeNAS 9.3 Issue?

Thread needs solution

I've been using ATI 2015 on Windows 7 with FreeNAS 9.3 for months without issue. I swapped out my FreeNAS for a bigger one and now one of the backups jobs refuses to work. On the same machine I backup my C and D drives in different jobs. D job works as normal but C always results in the following message. I've deleted the job and start from scratch several time but it still fails. I have deleted credentials in windows credential manager and ATI still won't work. Again same source and destination just different partitions. Any thoughts? Build 6613.

"failed to exclusively access a backup file during consolidation"

More Info below. I've tried the suggestion to "Try to remove the backup from the list, add it again by clicking 'Browse for backup'" several times. No luck.

Steve,
The addition of the new disk will require modifications to your task.

Most likely, if you use the Task Edit "move" command, you can use the move command to diredt the backups to a new location which would be the new disk. Otherwise, the computer history tracking will require completely new tasks with the tasks being created with the new disk attached.

Thanks for the reply GroverH but I have deleted and re-created the task several times. Same issue over and over. Seems like ATI is the one locking the files as it has full access to the folder.

Seems like the issue has to do with a section in the files in C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts

The password section was replicated several times in the XML. I deleted that, created a new back and I got a full backup without issue. Let's hope the problem is fixed.

Deleting the scripts from C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts did the trick. All back to normal. Not sure why this is so hard for Acronis to backup to network storage. I recall the similar issues versions all the way back to v9 (not v2009).

I also don't like how they blindly follow whatever Microsoft is doing for the UI. Like MS, it's clunky and not intuitive. /rant
