Full Image Backup for Diskdrives and Volumes is three times lager than the disk usage

Thread needs solution

When making a full backup of the Systemdrive (C:) to an external drive than the image size is three times of the disk usage.

Ther is a buildin SSD with 128GB. Disk usage is 82.6GB free from 110GB (Information from Explorer). BitLocker is not enabled. The system is Win81. Pro
The image size is more than 90GB, but fully functional. I can open it with the Explorer and can explore all the underlying dirs and files.

Sector by sector backup is NOT enabled.

I had tried it several times with different option, but alwyas nearly the same big Image.

What is going wrong?

Thanks

The build is 6613

Is this backup an "entire pc" selection or a partition image selection.

If "entire pc", then it includes all partitons on disk including the recovery partiton whcih you do not see.,
and also includes any other internal disk that may be installed.

If none of the above applies, the next step I would suggest is to check all partitions for disk errors.
