Full Restore from Full Computer Backup using ATI11

Thread needs solution

I just replaced my hard drive and restored the original operating system and applications using the system recovery discs. I loaded my ATI11 Home software and attempted to reload the full C: drive from a recent full computer backup. The software appears to let me only restore one file at a time and I have hundreds of files at 40 GB to restore. I hope someone can tell me that I don't have to restore these files one at a time.
Thanks,
Barry

Barry,

Can you clarify? Do you own ATI v11 (which precedes ATI 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012) or do you own ATI 2011?

Can you mount your backup? Can you double click on your backup and open the TIB file? These are 2 easy ways to retrieve multiple files and folders from a backup, but mounting works only for a disk and partition (aka image) backup and not for a file backup. I am not sure double clicking on a TIB file works for V11 (a pretty old version), but should work in Windows for 2011.

If you had a full disk backup of the driee, you could use ati to restore the whole drive and get back everything that was on it, OS, pgrograms, data, everything -- much easier than using pc maker recovery disks which only gets you the origianl OS state and programs.

Otoh, if you did a Files backup, you can only restore the files you backed up but you can select the directories/files to restore when you are in the recovery user interface.
