Getting "Scheduler Service is stopped" message at boot-up
I use ATIH to manually run full backups a few times a week. I've never used the scheduler. Last week I installed 2012's latest build. Ever since then, I get the "Scheduler Service is stopped" msg every time I boot my computer. This did not happen before last week's install. When I get the msg, I click on "resolve problem". Then I check my services list and I can see the scheduler service has been started by ATIH.
Can someone please tell me how to prevent the msg from appearing?

I think this happens because sometimes when the system starts the scheduler takes longer than expected to get going and other Acronis processes pop up the balloon info. This has happened to me several times but each time it has been OK as the scheduler was not even in the starting state. It did however start and no issues were caused as far as I can see.
So IMHO just wait and all will be OK when the system has sorted itself out

Thanks Scott! I'll give that a try.

Scott, I tried a different workaround that seems to be working out OK. Since I don't leave my computer on overnight, I scheduled the backups to run in the middle of the night with option to not run a missed backup. The "service stopped" msg no longer appears.
