Hard to tell when item is disabled

Thread needs solution

I recently learned the hard way that the task list does not let you know which items are disabled. I have two backup tasks, and due to the fact that my server was down, I thought I had disabled that backup temporarily until I could get it back up. About a week later, I discovered that I had disabled the wrong task, and instead had accidentally disabled my regular system backup. So, I went for almost a week w/o a backup on my regular system.

If you disable a task, there is no visible sign that I can tell on the screen letting you know that the task is disabled. The only thing that lets you know this is if you right-click on a task, the usual "Disable" now says "Enable", and that's the only sign that I can see. If I saw the usual red circle with a "x" in the middle on top of the backup task icon, I would easily be able to tell which one was disabled, and avoid this problem.

Yes, I have alerts set, and I did receive errors stating that it could not back up the server, but I frequently have strange problems with Acronis anyway, and I guess I ignore them too often, and I shouldn't.

I'm running Acronis True Image Home 2010

Hello Jesse,

Let me shed some light on your concern.

Indeed, the current version of Acronis True Image Home is not capable of determining which task is disabled. However, I have forwarded your suggestion to the appropriate department and most likely this feature will be implemented in future versions of Acronis True Image.

Thank you very much for your valuable feedback, we really appreciate it.

Please feel free to reply to this thread if you have any additional questions or issues, I'll be glad to help.
