Has this been fixed yet?
When I purchased True Image 11 Home, I assumed it would work fine. I tested it and found that it would not recognize my hard drives in RAID 0 format.
I had a great experience with tech support and they managed to "sort of" remedy the problem.
Their answer was "Oh, just download version 8, it will work on anything".
It did but I purchased version 11 not 8.
This leaves me with 2 versions of the program. 1 to save backups with and 1 to be able to recover with. This wouldn't be such a problem but it required me to write a small "book" on which one did what and a short how to.
My question is:
Has version 11 Home been fixed yet. I have the latest but assumed it would be repaired.
I don't see any reason to move on to another version if the first version I purchased never worked properly from the start.
Thank you,
Oneshot

Your question is not relevant to the problem.
If version 8 (the older version) works and version 11 (the newer version) doesn't then it's not my drivers, it's the program.
Listen, if you Acronis guys are reading this I'm a little peeved that you guys never fixed the version I purchased. Instead you gave me an old version and said use this to recover. I call that 1/2 butt.
Don't send me any more of your advertisements till you can provide a working copy of the product I purchased. Like I said in the first post, you were very helpful when I couldn't recover but you definitely dropped the ball with the "use this older version fix". It requires me to use 1 version for backup and 1 version for recovery.
This is the exact same reason I wound up dumping Norton Ghost. They thought 1/2 butt was good enough also.

I would be more than surprised if Acronis have any intention of updating TI 11 as it is now 2 versions old, in Acronis terms a deprecated piece of software. They did provide an update to TI 11 after 2009 came out, which at that time was very unusual thing for them to do.
I think you've missed your chance. Did you raise this in the Wilders forum at the time or raise a support ticket? A little academic now, but if you'd done that whilst TI11 was current and possibly whilst 2009 was just released you might have been luckier.
I'm not clear if your problem is from within the Windows based version or from the Rescue CD, if the CD, then others here may have a solution.
You get advertising material from Acronis?????? My, my, you can't expect to receive advertising bumph and have your Raid 0 problem solved - some of us have never received advertising. Consider yourself a lucky and privileged person! :)

Well, I see that the problem has never been fixed and probably never will be.
To that end, I've tried a few other options on a few of the other machines and have had "VERY GOOD" results. If I must use 2 programs to do the job 1 was meant to do, why should I need to pay for it?
This will do the same job at no cost.

Like I said, "If I must use 2 programs" this one will change & adjust partitions if needed.

Acronis:
If you want to be competitive, you will need to provide "working" software in the future. There are just too many other options out there for anyone to consider paying for something that does not work and was never fixed.
Poor programming on your end should never require more money on my end.

Hello Oneshot and Colin,
First of all, I'd like to apologize for the inconvenience in this situation. I will help you to resolve the issue and get the product working for you.
If I understand you correctly, you were offered to perform some operations from older 8 version, because Acronis True Image 11 Home does not recognize your RAID 0, is that correct?
In this case it means that drivers for your RAID controller were removed from Acronis True Image 11 Home for some reason, so we should find a single product which works fine with your RAID.
It would be easier to communicate via PM, since the investigation requires some personal information sharing. I have sent you the Private Message, please respond to it with the information I requested.
Additionally to this, you are welcome to ask me any other questions concerning Acronis, and I will assist you further.
Thank you.
