Having Problems Testing Media Bootable CD

Thread needs solution

Greetings,

After creating a bootable media CD in the "Create Bootable Media" tab, I encountered a problem while testing the bootable CD:

1. The CD did not boot automatically.
2. I had to select the files in the CD via D: (CD-ROM) drive.
3. A variety a files inside the CD are located; however, The correct bootable file is problematic to identify.

If this is a sign of an incorrect bootable CD creation, I'll appreciate any comments. Thank you.

Sincerelly,
Ed

Your bios needs to be set to boot CD first if you want your computer to boot from a bootable CD everytime one is inserted..
If not set that way, then you need to intercept the boot process and select the CDrom device as the boot device for that specific boot.

Another possibility would be that in creating the bootable CD, the CD was not specifically created to boot from Acronis within a specific seconds time limit. If Acronis not specifically set to boot wtihin specific seconds, the default kicks in and the compute will reboot into Windows after just a few seconds.

To create the CD to specificall boot automatically into Acronis,
check trueImage and also check the seconds time option--maybe change the time to 60 seconds while true image is selected.
