Hello ) I have a question/s regarding the Acronis backup warning message..... l'd be grateful.
Hi, i'm just after some help with a problem l am having, it's probably not really a problem, but nevertheless it is annoying me somewhat. And just excuse my question/s, it seems like an odd one, but that's me. )
After fiddling around with Acronis true image home 10, l created an image or created a partition of my c: drive, aswell as this, l created a bootable cd, and l setup the acronis recovery manager, so you can load into acronis at boot time by pressing f11.
Anyway after l created my image of the c: drive, on an external hard drive, l deliberately decided to recover the c: drive image via acronis recovery manager, and it recovered good, in just minutes in fact, however Acronis tells me, that my system is not fully protected? (this is after l recovered my computer) So i'm just wondering why is sais that? considering l made an image backup just before l recovered my computer. Just call me curious l guess.
So basically after l recovered my c drive through acronis recovery manager, and open up the acronis program in windows xp, the program basically tells me in the 'home' section, that my system isn't fully protected, and that l need to back up my system,, as well as this the recovery manager itself, is deactivated or 'off' after l recovered my c drive.
I'm not a computer expert, but maybe my problem has something to do with recovering my c drive, cause l did delete the drive and recover it all, etc.
It'd be good if someone on here could tell me why acronis keeps telling me this? (that my system isn't backed up). Or do you continually have to keep making backups, just to stop this message from showing/appearing. Or does it even matter at all?
I'd be grateful and relieved for a reply/answer. )
ciao
p.s. I should say l won't be on this forum posting problems all the time, just with this issue i'm having, at least l hope not.

Hi again, thanks for your answer. I assume the 'ASRM' is the acronis recovery manager right? To my memory l activated the recovery program, 'after' l created the image of my c: drive. But yeah like you said probably me restoring the computer caused this message, l'll keep an eye on my thread just in case there may be any more answers. Thanks anyway.
