Help fixing File Recovery Option

Thread needs solution

OK, so I built a new PC a couple months ago, and done a fresh install of Win7 x64.

I installed ATI 2012, and it was all working OK.
Whats odd, is that it stopped allowing me to use the Acronis Recovery option in the context menu.

Also, in the Control Panel / BackUp restore it is not seeing a backup there. It says Not backed up yet, with a date of 1970, and a error if I open the location.

I tried updateing to the new version and it still will not work.

The last thing I tried was re-imaging to a known good image 3 weeks ago (where it was all working properly) and it still is broken.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
I do not mind deleting backups and logs, (as I do have duplicates of major ones) but this doesnt seem to work either.

You'd probalby have to delete all the tasks and do a repair install.

turn off your seciruty soaftware while uninstalling/installing so the the hooks into the guts fo windows are allowed while peroforming those operations.

Ill give that a shot and see what happens. TY.

I do use Norton, and never thought it may be blocking something. Good tip :)
