Help! I have a problem with Acronis True Image 2014

Thread needs solution

Hello, I have a PC with Windows Vista x86. I made a purchase of Acronis True Image 2017, but not being compatible with Windows Vista, made a downgrade to the 2014 version. So far so good. It starts to make the copy in the Cloud, but at 4 days, Acronis True Image 2014 loses the connection with Acronis Cloud, it shows an error with the certificate. Informs that there may be another PC connected remotely. With the PC off, from another PC, I go to https://cloud-wr-eu2.acronis.com and I try to delete the copy, but I can not, I get this message:

The operation could not be completed. The selected equipment is currently in use. Try it again later.

I have another PC connected to the network, with windows 7 SP1 and Acronis True Image 2014 (Making copies in the cloud correctly)

Thank you very much for the help

Alicia, welcome to these user forums.

The last Acronis True Image version which declared support for Windows Vista was ATIH 2011, all later versions simply do not mention any support for Vista in the list of Operating Systems supported but all upto and including ATIH 2017 still show support for Windows XP SP3 which is older than Vista, so all this really means, is that Acronis have not tested whether ATIH 2017 - 2012 will work on Vista or not!

For problems with Acronis Cloud backups, the backup will normally restart itself automatically when a connection can be reestablished, but if you continue to have problems, you would need to open a Support Case directly with Acronis Support as we have no access to the Cloud servers involved from these user forums.

You could try deleting the C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\OnlineBackup folder contents then signing in again to your Acronis Account within the ATIH 2014 application to see if that will make a difference.
