Help... Master Boot Record failed etc TI 10

Thread needs solution

I have (hopefully) got a secure partition on my HD

The HD went down last night and unfortunately my bootable cd ... won't boot.... which is a bugger because it booted when I first created the thing :(

I don't have the serial number of my product - nor do I know exactly which version it is - presume it is the one that was current 24 May 2010 which is when I created the boot disk etc...

Should I download the Trial version and see if I can create a new bootable TI from that and try again or what ?

Also - I now do not have TI at all - so how do I get my TI application image back ?

Any help appreciated

Well, downloaded the trial version and I've hopefully ticked the right boxes for recovering the partition and files...

24 minutes to go...

I think I'd rather have a demon running in the background that monitored the age of my last backup ... and then unobtrusively advised me each time I started up ... how long it was since I last created a backup...

Then I'd constantly be reminded that I needed to do it :)

Your serial number for your purchased product is available if you registered your product. Log into your registration page and it will show what products you have registered and alternate bootable Rescue CD's can be downloaded so it is possible for you create a new RescueCD of the same version as your old one.

Use the scheduler as your demon. Use the Acronis scheduler for up to a month apart. Or, check the Windows Scheduler which may provide longer intervals.
