Help restoring hard drive image w/ ATI 10 Home

Thread needs solution

Hi, All.

I unfortunately suffered an internal hard drive meltdown. I have a complete backup set of .tib files (drive image, with three partitions) on a USB-connected external hard drive, and I have a bootable rescue CD.  I will shortly be getting a new replacement hard drive via warranty; as I understand it, it will have a single partition with a bare-bones operating system, anti-virus software, etc.

What I'm not clear on is how to proceed with doing a restore of my previous setup (with its three partitions) over top of the new C: drive w/OS -- I live in Galveston TX, and though I saved my computer, all my software install disks, documentation etc. were irretrievably "drowned" in Hurricane Ike about a year ago, so it's very important that I restore the drive image with apps and registry settings, not just the data.  I did this once before using version 8, and it seemed much simpler then -- I get lost in the details of the documentation.  Making a  drive image was fairly intuitive, but everywhere in the restore sections they seem to talk about restoring data, not images.  Any and all help would be gratefully appreciated!

Hi Dave,
I also own TI 10 .
When using the revovery wizzard, on the second step of the restore process, you're given the choice to restore ,either your data or partitions or hard drive. You should check off the latter.
