HELP! .tib file wont add to restore list???
Hi, I need to restore a partition using Acronis 2013 & WIN7. The .tib file (148GB) was created fine and I can browse it.
I attempted to restore it and it said it would take 7 hours so I left it overnight. Upon returning this morning there was an error and still had 7 hours in background progress window. Error asked to be restarted to be able to continue restore.
Upon shutting down it showed a blue window saying windows was processing or something and when rebooted Acronis did not load. When I tried to restore again, the restore option was not avaiable on the list and when right clicking the tib file choosing properties>arconis tab it says 'no previous versions'.
I also tried removing the job and adding it manually to the restore list but after browsing and choosing 'add to list' it would not appear.
Please help! Whole office need this PC for accounting software operation..
Thanks, Dale.

Dale, welcome to these use forums.
Given the information you have provided so far, I would recommend doing a CHKDSK /R for all the disk drives involved in your attempt to restore this partition.
More information is needed to fully understand your exact recovery scenario you are working with.
All Recovery for Acronis .TIB files that involve recoverying an OS partition should only be done by using the Acronis bootable Rescue Media (on CD/DVD or USB stick).
The Rescue Media should be started in the same mode as is used by your Windows 7 OS in the BIOS. This can either be Legacy /CSM or UEFI / EFI mode, and would normally be seen as options in the BIOS Boot menu, i.e. a plain entry for the USB drive, and one showing UEFI for the USB drive.
From your comments about attempting a clone next, are you saying that the installed Windows 7 drive is still working / booting into Windows OK etc?
Normally after a failed Recovery / Restore from a .TIB file the original partition gets wiped out at the start of that recovery action.
