Home 11 restoration starts with a dangerous Acronis page instead of Windows Vista
I replaced my one disk drive and used a full backup to restore my system on the new one. When I restarted, I expected to see the same system I had before. Instead I get an Acronis page with the choices of backup (?), "clean", and "windows", with "clean" the default. I assume that means it would erase the disk, so I chose "windows", which fortunately works. Now I would be happy to buy a new version if the product worked, but this is not acceptable. Is it possible to restore the original system?

Hello,
Let me help you to resolve the issue.
thomasjk, I think, you're right. George, please make sure that you haven't left Acronis bootable CD in the drive. Another probable reason of the issue may be the fact that you have Acronis Startup Recovery Manager activated.
To de-activate Startup Recovery Manager, start Acronis True Image and go to Tools -> Activate Acronis Startup Recovery Manager, then follow the wizard’s instructions.
If the issue still persists, please make a screen shot/digital photo of the screen you have and attach it to your reply.
We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.
Thank you.
