How come Email backups takes longer than partition backups...?

Nope it doesn't... 50 minutes now and continuing to clime. will update throughout backup. This is inane because the status bar hasn't moved an inch since it started and it is still in the same place as before. This is utter nonsense, this should have finished ages ago and it's still backing up. WTH is going on here. This isn't right is it... I've canceled it because it is just inane to be taking this long to backup emails and profiles is just ridiculous, PST files are 949mb which is not that big.

I have tried it all ways and it states that it is going to take an hour and a half to backup and believe me this will increase.

Well I'm stunned at the lack of response from Acronis. Therefore, I'm assuming that nobody at Acronis has a definitive answer to my question then do they... Otherwise somebody would have answered by now. Why does email backups take longer than partition backups...? this shouldn't be the case at all.. we are only talking about PST files in total 949mb whereas, my partition weighing in at 34GB and it took 25 minutes to complete, Therefore, email backups should fly through...?

No they don't and emails are one of the most important I need to backup and Acronis states that they backup emails but its taking forever to backup. 1 hr and 30 mins to backup PST files is unexceptionable. To be frank it is utter crap, sorry to use profanity but you have to take this from my view it is crap and to be honest quite embarrassing for Acronis because it shouldn't take this long. I provided you with images to show how long this is taking... Okay granted I edited one of the pictures and added some text at the end of the image to show it was taking a long time.

The difference is that email backup is done using MAPI interface, partition backup is performed using direct disk access.
