How to delete older backups if disk is full
Hello,
with my settings for the backup versions I encounter the following problem: I had it set to keep at most 3 chains and have 5 incremental backups before making a full backup again. Today there were three chains on disk and it started the fourth full backup, but the disk was full. I then changed the setup, to keep only 2 chains.
I manually deleted the first chain to free diskspace. I then started the backup again. When it was done, I got an error message, since acronis obviously was looking for the first full backup, which I had just deleted.
My question is, how do I get rid of this error message? How do I cleanup my backups without breaking acronis' book-keeping, when I am running out of diskspace?
I am using acronis 2014.
Many thanks in advance!

Good morning Steve,
thanks for your reply.
Yes, there were 3 complete chains and the fourth one was started when disk space ran out. Obviously acronis will delete the oldest chain only when the full backup of the fourth chain is complete, which was not possible due to lack of space. Now with the setup of 2 complete chains I hope it will work without problems.
