How to delete or remove backup versions on True Image 2015
I have found instructions on how to delete versions on TI 2014, but have not found instructions on how todo it on TI 2015.
I tried to do it the same way as TI 2014 but is not working.
I went to the Recover Files tab for the Backup (Differential Scheme - "My F Drive") that I want to manage. I selected the version that I want to delete as if going to recover it. Then I tried to right-click the version as to get the Delete Version menu or option. This does not work, it does not show any menu or option to delete the version.
Also tried to do the right-click over the version on the drop down list of versions before selecting it completly. Did not work either.
I have other two Backups, (one NonStop for F drive, another Differential "My C Drive") and tried the same but it does not work either.
My Destination drive is full. I have to delete versions otherwise Backups won't run.

Anna Trifonova wrote:Hello Jose,
the possibility to manually delete specific backup versions was removed in Acronis True Image 2015.
Instead please use cleanup rules, which you can set in backup plan.
Thank you.
The question I have to ask is why on earth did this happen? Why can't I delete all the backups made for a particular back up job if I want to?
Another thing, it appears that if move the backup somewhere else I can't change the folder destination within the backup job!!
I mean seriously?? Isn't this basic functionality?

Please understand that according to their business model Acronis is forced to create every year a new ATI version even the basic tasks of imaging are the same. In ATI 2015 many features disappiered creating the chance for ATI 2016 to add some again and so to become a desired must-have product for upgrade.
ATI 2015 is a special disaster because if you buy the product, say 5 weeks before you update to Win 10 with the latest ATI 2015 build and notice problems, you have lost your free support and pay 20 Euro for one support ticket to fix bugs of the product with Win 10. Bugs in ATI 2015 are in some way good for Acronis because they want to sell ATI 2016 soon.
And there is also the possibilty for Arconis to create a Pro version which includes the features lost in ATI 2015.

AlexS,

Use the Task "Move" option to change the location of the storage disk. Be sure the target disk is attached if it is external.

If the task which created the backup is still available, then you can edit the task and use the DELETE OPTION.
This option offers to delete the task configuration only, or to delete both tib backup and task settings.
Or, if the task is not available, you can use Windows Explorer to delete the backup.
If tib files deleted from an existing task, you may need to create a new task to ge it operational again.
