Hello Dwayne,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

If you want to backup settings related to our program, please create My Data backup of the following folders:

C:\Program files\Acronis
C:\Program files\Common Files\Acronis
C:\Documents  and settings\All users\Application data\Acronis
C:\Documents  and settings\[Your user name]\Application data\Acronis

Thank you.

thanks for the info Alexander, but what about tasks that have been scheduled thru Acronis. how do i back those up so that in the event of a restore, i can restore those tasks too?

The task scripts are in the  C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts folder and will have a tib.tis ending.  What won;t work though is the schedule itself, you will need to reschedule all the tasks.

However, if you are performing a full or partition disk image then the TI install and everything associated with it will be in the archive and when restored will be fully working. Note one draw back though, if you have all your tasks set to run if missed, then on restore make sure your imaging drive is disconnected when Windows boots, otherwise the TI scheduler will note the time difference and decide to run a task thereby possibly wiping out the archive you've just imaged from.

Hello all,

Sorry for unclear directions!

Yes, bodgy gave absolutely correct answer. Task scripts are located in

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\TrueImage\Scripts folder (there should be task script files with the names like 7F43D031-3D5E-426E-8958-36C75BF2E31A.tib.tis or similar).
Path for Vista is: C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts

Thank you.
