How do I deactivate Home 2012
Issue
I want to "deactivate" Home 2012 so that:-
(a) I can transfer it to a Windows 7 machine (which I do not currently have) sometime in the future
(b) Re-install my registered copy of Home 2009
Background
I have a number of .tib files created under 2009.
I want to be able to extract individual files from them.
Home 2012 does not (appear to) let me do this.
Consequently, I want to remove 2012 and re-install 2009 (on a machine running Windows XP Pro SP3)
Obviously I can use 2012's uninstall.exe (atih_installer, 15.0.0.6131).
My concern is that I will then "lose" Home 2012 - which I have paid for.

I want to do the same thing, but when I try access the clean up link, I get an error message:
"Access Denied. You are not authorized to access this page. "
How do I view this?
IMO, Acronis really needs to make it so that an uninstall fully deactivates the license. This is annoying.
Thanks!

1. The cleanup link can be found inside my signature below. Signature link #4
2. I am surprised that you cannot access 2012 for your files inside a 2009 backup. Click on link #3 below and read item #5 inside that link. Maybe it has some help there about reading files. Have you also tried the 2012 bootable CD for reading the 2009 files?
When mounting a backup, mount only the partition you really need and remove any unwanted partitions from the listing. User has control over which partitions mounted and drive letters assigned.
3. A link to activation
