How do I disable automatic backups search on launch?

Thread needs solution

Can someone tell me how to disable the automatic backup search when starting TrueImage 2014?

The process described for version 2013 is not applicable to the latest version (the option isn't there). I have searched through every nook and cranny in TrueImage 2014 and I cannot find the option to disable it.

I have a bunch of old backup archives that I want to keep for some temporary redundancy and posterity and it's really annoying when it keeps locating them and clutters up the workspace.

For 2014,

The option to enable/disable "Scan at Startup" is located under the "Add Backup" option located in middle of top row headers. Toggle the setting off or on. The default value is "ON" which has a dark blue colored checkmark. When the setting is disabled, the checkmark assumes a much lighter color but still checked. If you toggle the checkmark, you can see the color changes so you can ascertain which whether the setting is enabled/disabled.

The option to remove all backup task can be found under the double cog wheel on upper right.

The 2014 version of Scan at Startup.
The default setting is ENABLED and the scan will occur unless the user changes the default value to NOT-ENABLED as per this illustration.

Hello,
is there a corresponding option for 2019?

In 2019 click on the Settings Gear Icon. Under Application Startup uncheck "Automatically check for updates at start up".

It is about checking Acronis site for the application update, Tom.
Not about searching for backups on local drives.

Elisei Kulikovsky, I've been asking for it to return for a few years now, but no joy so far.  The 2019 forum has a wish list thread that was made a sticky just recently and I've requested it again. Please request it there too :)  I hate seeing my console cluttered up with old backups that I just want to retain for posterity.  Not to mention, when it automatically adds in dozens of them at once, I then can only manually remove them one by one with painstaking, repetitive, manual labor.
