How do I prevent TI 2010 from automatically cancelling program activity after ten minutes?

Thread needs solution

How do I prevent TI 2010 from automatically cancelling my DVD images after ten minutes of being out of the room? This drives me nuts. The phone rings and I lose a backup since I can't swap a disk. I do both hard drive and DVD backups and really do not like the program deciding to cancel activity because I am unable to swap a disk in time. Is there a registry setting I can change to turn off this terribly annoying feature and let me swap out DVD's at my leisure not when Acronis thinks I should have done so?

Hello Bob,

Thank you for your post. I will do my best to assist you.

I am terribly sorry for the inconvenience. Indeed, there is a 10 minute time-out period in Acronis True Image 2010 Home. Our developers are aware of this and we are working to improve our software.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you.

Have you tried splitting your image into DVD size "chunks" on your hard drive? You could then burn them to DVD at your convenience and delete them from the hard drive after validation of the DVD images.

Hello,

como, thank you very much for your suggestion, it is the only way to overcome the issue at this moment.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.
