How do I restore a cloned drive to a directory?

Thread needs solution

Hi all, a bit of a techie question here. I'd like to take a backup of hard disk, a cloned image, and then expand that cloned imaged to a directory on a new hard disk, without making a new partition.

I'd like to back up a disk, then restore that disk's files and folders to a folder on another hard drive.

Can this be done? If so, how do I do it?

A Clone and an Image are two different things with TI.

If you have a clone, just copy the folders/files where you want them.

If you have an image backup, there are several ways you can do it. You can Mount or Explore the image and copy & paste the folders/files. You can also do a Restore and select the Recover chosen files and folders option. This allows restoring back to the original location or specifying an new location (which you would use). The absolute path can also be restored, if desired.
