How do I restore Image

I have True Image 11 home. I created an image backup to a usb ext HDD. This appeared as six files 'My Backups 1 to 6'.
Also made an Acronis Boot disc.
Booted from this disc and selected restore.
I cannot restore to my laptop as although I went thro all files and was told success although laptop still does not work. There seems no way to select all files at one time.

You only have to select the first file. True Image will know the rest are part and parcel of the entire backup.
BTW, you probably got 6 files instead of 1 big one because your usb drive is formatted as Fat 32 instead of NTFS.

Many thanks for your reply. Each restore I tried took about 40mins. After trying backup 1 the comp would not start which is why I went thro the six.
I will try again. Thanks
