How do I stop old backup schedule?
When I upgraded to True Image 11 Home from my earlier version of Acronis I set up a new daily backup schedule with a different name and backup time. That backup is working fine. However, my old daily backup schedule is continuing, so I'm getting two backups daily. I want to remove the old schedule but it does not show up in my Acronis schedule or anyplace else that I've looked on my computer. How can I locate and remove the old schedule so I only get one backup daily? I'm having the identical problem on two computers that I upgraded.

Have ATIH 2012, and previously I had have reset the daily backup schedule times for a daily backup, which works well, though never restored.
Now ATIH 2012 starts a backup at 4:00pm, 6:00pm and 8:00pm even though the schedule is Turned Off !! I then 'Cancel' the backup.
I now start the ATIH 2012 manually just before I 'Turn Off Computer" and set the backup to "Close down computer when complete"; these backups work fine, 1 x full plus 5x incremental, with 3 repartitions and outo deletion of earliest.
BUT how do I remove (i.e stop) these unwanted backups from starting up spontaneously and having to be cancelled ??
Thanks and cheers

Download the Acronis Schedule Manager and ZAP all your tasks. This will not delete the tasks or the TIB files, just the schedule of the task.

Thanks Pat L
After download, is Acronis Schedule Manager installed on say Drive c:\
or
Does Acronis Schedule Manager just run when enter schedmgr get report > schedreport.txt
Sorry for questions but it is not very clear if one has not used this Acronis add-on before
By ZAP, do you mean:
To delete all scheduled tasks:
task zap
Cheers, appreciate your reply

Open command prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd);
Type cd {path where you downloaded it}
Type "schedmgr.exe"
Type task zap
Close the command prompt.

I have copied Acronis Schedule Manager onto desktop - Win XP Prof
(Start -> Run -> cmd) opens basic window
Top reads: C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe
Microsoft windows XP [Version 5.12600]
Copyright 1985-2001 Microsoft Corp
C:\Documents and Settings\David\cd
C:\Documents and Settings\David\
C:\Documents and Settings\David\"schedmgr.exe"
' "schedmgr.exe" ' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
Does one have to store the the 'Schedmgr.exe' file in a particular place?? Thanks for your advice, and patience.

I have the same problem. You mean to tell me that instead of Acronis having a simple "delete schedule" button, I have to download an add-on, then open an .exe program?

Jack,
The schedule manager is a convenient way of resetting the data that the scheduler uses. Another way is to export your backup settings, uninstall, reboot, reinstall and import your backup settings.
You can unschedule existing tasks, but it might not correct errors in the scheduler.

Not sure what you mean exactly. This is a 5 year old thread that was last posted to back in 2012 - Thu, 2012-08-30 14:55 to be exact. Quite a lot has changed since then. Also, this is the user forum so if there is a specific message for Acronis - something that doesn't work, a bug, a suggestion, etc. submitting it directly to them from your account or the feedback feature of the app would be useful. Not sure what version you're using, but direct technical support was increased to 2 years from the release date for version 2015-current.

Says 1 year.
schedmgr.exe (mentioned above) opens a command line window which is a ridiculous thing to recommend to the average consumer.
I just updated to 2016 and it is now fairly easy to remove the schedule without removing the files. Glad they fixed this.

The Acronis Scheduler Manager tool is intended for use under guidance from Acronis Support or via the MVP's in the Forums, so yes it does present a Windows Command prompt type panel when used, but the KB document for this tool explains in some detail the usage of this tool.
