How to find Acronis Backup Explorer

Thread needs solution

I am using Acronis TIH 2011. I would like to recover a single folder from my full backup made recently. The instructions state to open the "Backup Explorer". When I click on the Acronis program and it opens, I click to go to the Main Screen. I cannot find where to get Backup Explorer. Can anyone help me with this.
Thanks

Acronis backup explorer is the window that opens when you click the "explore all version" link or the "explore and recover" button (depending on the type of backup).

Alternatively, you can use Windows Explorer to navigate to the backup, right click and choose Open or choose Mount and then you can traat the backup like read-only drive and copy out the files you want.

I followed the Help instructions for selected file backups I made of MyDocuments folder, and you will note that I have 10 versions listed in attachment, for the "My Documents 2012-01-19" file backup. The gear is suppose to show me Backup Explorer as an option so I can recover specific older files; but it does not appear. Note that all my backups are stored on a LG Network Storage drive that I have mounted as a share drive (password protected). I am running Win XP.   Also, whatever version I am to open, it always shows the newest/latest version??  What is wrong?  Please help.  Thanks   [ attachment includes view of Backup and Recovery tab, and MyExplorer view on my LG network drive files.]

Did you click on Recover?

JoeD,

RIGHT click on the task name which has the 10 backups "My Documents 2012-01-19" See if you have a "Explore & Recover" option.

Other: My personal recommendation is that any task have its own folder for backup storage. I would not use a single backup folder for several tasks. Acronis says you can but too many reports of issues so only use 1 folder per task.  You can put them into different sub-folders within one folder just keep the backup files separated.
