How to get rid of sliver of unallocated disk space...
which was left after using ASZ sometime back. I now have 2010 with no ASZ, but that unallocated space (which does not show up in disk management only if you look at it through Acronis) STILL persists.
It seems to be messing up my Vista/Windows7 dual boot.
Here's a screenshot:

Thanks for any help. This has been a longstanding problem with me.

That doesn't work; neither does gparted.
How do I get rid of it?
The choices to delete or change the unallocated space are greyed out.

This may work.
Use TrueImage to recreate a new SZ of any size create it adjacent to the current unallocated space.
Next, use TrueImage to delete the new SZ.
It should ask you where to assign the unallocated space and you can then assign the space back to its original position.

Thanks, Grover, will try that as soon as I can get 2010 working again. :(
Moved windows 7 to first partition on my hard drive and deleted Vista to change from dual boot to single boot and everything works in the newly relocated Windows 7 EXCEPT Acronis 2010.
