How to PAUSE/RESUME backup job?
Is there any way to pause a backup job and then resume it later? As I can see, the ATI 2015 has only SUSPEND button that completely suspends backup job. Is there anything I am missing here?
Thanks a lot in advance.

Acronis has not seen fit to include that in any of their versions??? It's just like Daimler-Benz has not seen fit to include brakes in their recent Mercedes-Benz models. The PAUSE/RESUME possibility is not an option, not a feature, it's something so trivial, so basic, so must-have and so important that each and every one backup application on the market, except ATI 2015, does have it (NovaBACKUP, Backblaze, Carbonite, CrashPlan, SugarSync, MyPCBackup etc, etc). It's really beyond me to figure out why it is missing in ATI 2015 build 6525.

You mean SUSPEND command? There is no cancel command. Only when it comes to online backup to the Acronis Cloud, seems that SUSPEND command behaves as if it were PAUSE command. After the online backup is suspended, the "BACK UP NOW" button behaves as if it were RESUME button and the online backup job continues from the point where it was stopped. But this doesn't work for local backups. What if I want to backup a full 500 GB partition to an external USB disk drive?
As I am new to Acronis forum I would like to know if there is any sense to put something like a feature request for PAUSE/RESUME button and where to post the request.
Thanks a lot.

My comments are not for Online or continuous backups. I have not used these two features and do not know what they do or do not include.
