How to prevent Acronis 11.0 8,101 Disk Full Error every year or so

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I have a 400G secure zone and have three jobs scheduled: 1) Data full backup. 2) Data incremental; 3) Whole disk backup. The source disk has about 170G files. These jobs work fine for about a year or more and then I get error message when the data backup is ~40% done:
E0004004: ...
Disk is full. (0x40004)
Tag 0xC4AB60A831327ED2

The manual states old backups are removed before the backup starts. There does not appear to be a method to delete old backups. The only way I have recovered from this is to delete the secure zone and recreate it.

How do I create the above backups and prevent disk full errors?
Thanks,

I belive old backups re removed after a backup is completed. OTherwise, if the backup didn't work for some reason and you tried again, you end up with backups deleted without replacements. You always need enough room for at least one adittional backup plus some overhead.

You can verify the order of operations by viewing the ATI log file.
