how remove True Image 2013 manually?

Thread needs solution

I use True image 2013 version 16.0.5551. Dutch version.
I want to update but pc says: cannot be removed because the programme has been installed only for the actual user. Remove the programme manually!
I don't understand, because I am the only user. May be it's because I am Hans and I am also the administrator. And perhaps I have installed an earlier version under the other user (Hans/administrator).
I cannot find the programme in Start/Configuration. I use Windows 8 32 bits. What can I do now? Try and decide doesn't work neither.
I hope someone can help me. I would be very graceful!
Regards, Hans

Hans,

Download the Acronis Cleaner for 2013, this will uninstall 2013 and allow you to install build 6514.

You could also try, downloading the install and right click and select 'Run as Administrator' that might be enought to get things going.

If you use the Acronis Cleaner, any other Acronis products you have installed will need to be reinstalled as well.

I have a failed install of 2013. The system will not boot to windows at all, even safe mode. How do i remove acronis so that I can get access to my system as it loads the acronis loader and if I try to go to windows, it just reboots itself.

I just bought this product new in box from New Egg, and now I find that acronis does not support it.

If I can nt get the acronis failed install reversed, I am afraid I will lose everything.

Can you help?

John,

Did you enable the Secure Zone or Boot Manager (if you are using W7 Ultimate) by any chance?

How far do you get in the booting process? As far as the boot menu?

Have you made the recovery media yet? If not, download it from your Acronis account page. Before doing anything, I would suggest making an image of your complete disk to another drive.

1. What OS are you using?

2. Is your PC a brand name PC?

3. Do you get any error messages during the booting process?

4. When booting your system, does the F8 option and selecting 'safe mode' work?

5. Do you have a Windows install Cd/DVD or a Windows Recovery media?
