How to remove/disable the cloud feature (online storage)?
Acronis True Image 2013 build 6514
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OEM
I will *not* be using cloud storage to save backup images. That is a trial service (that has already expired) that I won't be paying for. I have other means of saving files to online storage that are free (e.g., aDrive).
What must I do to ATI's configuration to completely disable their cloud feature? Is there a service I should stop and configure to Disable? Are there are startup items that I should delete?
Twould be nice to simply have an option in ATI that says to enable/disable cloud services so any services would be created/deleted as well as its GUI updated to add/remove the Synchronization tab (i.e., I don't even want to see the cloud features in the GUI if I disabled them).
I can choose to NOT login to an Acronis account to block the cloud feature but that is a clumsy workaround. It probably also does not stop and disable any services on which it is dependent. It certainly won't affect the GUI by hiding disabled cloud features.
I'd like to get rid of the some of the bloat in ATI 2013. I won't be using any online storage offered (at a price) by Acronis so I'd like to trim away any processes, services, startup items, and anything else to hide what is, to me, bloat.
Thanks for any replies.

Here where I live I pay a lot for internet access. I really would like to disable that feature, which I do not need and which I do not want.

Similar concerns. My real question is: in True Image 2015 is it possible to turn off the option of storing backups to the cloud? I have no intention of ever using such services, and I want to make sure that this option can be disabled before I buy the software.

My cloud storage seemed to start automatically. I will not be using it. I too have other less costly means. How to stop it?
Please tell us how to stop this automatic direction to Acronis Cloud Storage. I do not want my credit card used again.

Same here. Using the 2015 version. I'd already considered going back to 2014 due to all the features removed. But now that I see that the annoying cloud service notification has existed for years without any option to mute it I'm tempted to simply move away from ATI completely for my backup needs. When purchasing software I expect it to be free of nagging messages like this.

I can only assume that the reason there are no answerers is because they want us to pay for the answer.

I upgraded to Acronis 2015 on Nov 10th
Acronis Cloud (free trial) was activated by default, no choice to skip it.
Since then i have been receiving emails reminding me that the free trial will expire, that my files (i have none) will be deleted.
The free trial expired a few days ago and STILL Acronis is popping up to tell me it expired.
I am tired of this feature. I did not want it, i did not use it, but there seems to be no way to get rid of it even now that it expired.
I contacted Customer Service. They replied they would cancel my subscription. They did not do it. But that's not the point.
Why Acronis does not just offer Cloud as a choice during installation or offer the chance to deactivate it in the global settings?
