how to restore data to a fresh install windows vista

I've done a fresh install of windows vista and reinstalled True Image Home 2011 Plus
and I need to restore mybackup. can someone point me in the right direction?

To restore a disk image (if you want to restore your previous Vista intallation and programs), if you have a recovery CD (better), boot on the CD and find your backup. You can also restore a disk image within Windows. Lanch ATI (True Image), click on explore version or restore last version. If you have several partitions, you can restore them all, but not necessary. Computer will then reboot, will delete all information on the disk and restore your image. If you want to restore only certain partitions, let us know as this might be just a little bit more complicated.

To restore only parts of a disk image (data files and content), you can double click on the TIB file and copy/past the files where you want on your new Vista installation. This will not work for programs.

To restore a file backup, you can also double clik on the TIB file.
