How to restore a disk from a TIB File

Thread needs solution

I am so frustrated. Thanks to a Microsoft Update my hard drive crashed. I have a good TIB file made 3 days earlier. I attempted to restore it to my hard drive and it kept failing. I tried to do a search on you KB and could not find the instructions as to how to perform this restore. I know it has something to do with where you tell what partitions to restore to.

Can someone direct me to the right place?
Thanks

Did you create a full disk mode backup (selecting the disk, not just individual partitions)?

Check out the many user guides and tutorials in the left margin of this forum, particularly Getting Started and Grover's True Image Guides which are illustrated with step-by-step screenshots.

You would boot from the ATI Rescue Media to perform a restore.

Yes I did a full disk backup. When you drill down thru the backup you can see all of the partitions.
