How To Restore Partial Incremental Backups

Thread needs solution

Hi All,

I have taken a full backup of my system drive (c:) and then whenever I make some changes to the drive like installing new software etc, I take an incremental backup. My question is that when I restore my computer from these backups is it possible to skip the last Incremental backup and restore to the state previous to that backup?

In short I have one Full Backup and three Incremental Backups and I want to restore full backup and the first two incremental backups only.

Best Regards

Yes. When you select which incremental you want to restore, you have three options:
- from within ATI, select recover and navigate to the version you want,
- from Windows explorer, right click on the TIB that corresponds to the date you want, select archive ->recover
- from the recovery CD, browse to the TIB file that corresponds to the date you want, select recover.
