How to use existent backup?

Hi all,

about a month ago, I installed the English trial version of Trueimage to evaluate it. Being satisfied with the results, I bought 6 licenses for the studio I'm working in Japan.

However the 6 licenses I bought are in Japanese. To my surprise, there is no language options inside the software. Apparently it's a big deal to change them since it requires serial number changing, and being locked to 1 language is undesired anyway since other people won't be able to use it.

Please consider language flexibility in future versions, I don't understand why premium software like this makes it so difficult to work with. I swap languages in the software I'm using all the time, it's all digital so please keep things simple and flexible...

Anyway what I would like to achieve is to use my previous backup with the newly installed Japanese version of Trueimage. However I cannot figure it out when the interface is in Japanese. I see no obvious option for doing it.
Could you be so kind as to provide information on how to use the existent backup?

Hello Orestis,

Welcome to Acronis forum and thank you for posting.

You can resolve this issue by installing the English version of True Image 2013 by Acronis as it will accept Japanese serial numbers. I would recommend to uninstall the Japanese version first.

Please register your serial numbers in your Acronis web-account so that you can download the English version from here.
