How to use a Time Capsule connected by USB to my MAC with True Image 2015

Thread needs solution

I run Parallels Desktop and got the True Image 2015 trial version to see if I really can get images of both the MAC and Parallels sides of my MacBook Pro, in one easy backup solution. I want to backup locally to my 1TB Time Capsule connected to my MAC by USB. TrueImage 2015 so far, is not allowing me to select the Time Capsule as a destination for my backup. OK I'm no computer expert, I just want to create backups of my work. What do I do to get this trial version to work "as advertised". Promo guff says I can bck up to a USB connected local HDD. That's how I use my Time Capsule. I cannot afford the chew through my monthly internet download capacity, to use cloud backup, hundreds of GB etc. This forum sounds like it's for gurus, most of what I can see discussed is straight over the top of my head. Jargon I don't understand. Searching 'time capsule' in the search box asked me did I mean 'True Image'. Oh, spare me. Perhaps someone can help a simple person who just wants to do a backup?
Thanks in anticipation

I'm afraid I can't be of much help as I don't have a Mac at the moment.

Are you using the Mac version of TI 2015 or the Windows version inside the VM?

I suspect only the Mac version of TI will allow access to Time Capsule.

Or to put it another way, the special package allows you a Mac version and a Windows version of TI. The Windows version will only be able to see the Windows VM and an external drive/NAS etc. The Mac version, will see the iOS and the VM, but the VM will appear as a very large file. I believe that from within the Mac environment the Mac version will see the Time Capsule.
