Huge incremental backups

Thread needs solution

System:
Windows 10 64 Bit
Acronis True Image 2015 build 6613
2 TB C: drive, 16 GIGs RAM, AMD 8 core CPU

Problem Description:
My computer backs up every night to two different locations. I don't make a lot of changes to the system during a normal day. The size of a full backup is about 460 GIGs as expected. An incremental backup is about 166 to 215 GIGs, almost half the size of a full backup. There are some days where I do very little and an incremental backup is still over 150 GIGs. It seems to me that this problem started when I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

TrueImage backs up disk sectors which have changed. You will need to find out what is changing.
Look at your TI file exclusions to see what you have selected--if any. Such as Windows Restore
Defrag must not run before any incremental backup as any relocation of data will be included in your backup.

Some utility program want to fine tune your performance by relocation data. This can make your backups larger.
Perhaps Windows 10 is making some backup copies which is being included.

Overall, Acronis is just capturing the data which has changed and you job will be to find out what is changing
so you can stop the changes or exclude some of the changes.
