Ofir,

Are you trying to recover from within Windows or from the recovery CD?

What brand is the SSD?

Is True Image showing the drive, but just not letting you select it? To solve that one try using the Acronis 'add new drive' which will initialise the drive.

Do you have the SSD installed in the PC or in an external caddy?

I have INTEL SSDSC2CT120A3 128GB I don't know much more then that.

Now true image is showing the drive only as a storage space when I want to create a backup but when I want to restore a backup to that drive it doesn't show it at all only my hdd drive.

My ssd is installed in the PC not in an external caddy.

Thanks in advance.

Try the add new drive option under the utilities tab of True Image.

did everything I could and yet acronis doesn't do anything.

I can't even do clone drives because my hdd is 1TB so I can't really copy all of it right?
so basically it doesn't work.

Does Windows see your SSD drive?

What happens when you use the Acronis Add Disk?

Is this a native Windows 8 machine?

What happens if you try this frm the recovery CD? If this is a native W8 machine you will need to disable Secure Boot in th eBIOS and possibly change UEFI to legacy mode.

Where have you stored the W8 image, in fact are you wanting to clone or restore an image?

As for your last question, that depends on how much of the 1TB drive has been used and what size the SSD is.

As no one here is standing right next door to you, it is helpful if you give as much information as you can about what you've done, what your system is and what exactly you are seeing.

Windows see my ssd

add drive does what it should do

it is an Hebrew version of windows 8 but I also have an English languges pack

I created bootable media but no luck

I have stored the image on my d partition on my 1TB drive

as for disk cloning it is impossible because I have more files on my 1TB hd then my ssd 128gb can containe.

I will try what you said about the bios and I hope it would work

so basicly every thing is looking fine I can see the drive just like my hdd acronis see it as a storage space but not as a recovery space and that is about it.:)

thanks for all your help.

Secure boot is disable and I don't see legacy mode in UEFI
