But it Split/divided the External hard drive into partitions because I have 2 drive a C drive and a D drive but now when I format it I have 2 External drives

how can I bring it back into one full size partition

everytime i plug the external drive it shows 2 drives and I want it back how I had it

First off, you cannot put two clones on one drive. The second will wipe out the first. Are you really talking about clone? In Acronis this is different to Backup/Image.
To get back the 1Tb showing 1 partition, use Windows Disk Management to delete one partition, then you can extend the remaining one to the size of the entire drive.
