I just bought acronis 2010

Thread needs solution

I bought the support for a year but I didn't buy the upgrades support.
Now I do get the patches or updates or what ever you call them for the version I bought, right?

I'm going to buy windows 7 64 bit, does 2010 support that,it says it supports all version of win7 in the help file.so I shouldn't have anything to worry about right?

Heading is correct now thanks.

You need to register your product to get/download any updates.  You meant Acronis 2010 right?  The heading of the message states 2012 so this must be a misprint.

I haven't bought 2010 yet but I understand it has lots of bugs so I will wait for about 6 to 9 months before I decide to buy the new version.  I have downloaded the trial version but I don't see it any different from 2009 but I am after very basic functions like cloning the HD or backing up the files.  The new version has things like Online Backup, Non stop backup, and Virtual HD support.  I am not interested in these for now.  It has one thing though - Supports Windows 7 but I would have thought 2009 would do that any way!  Unless the file system of Win 7 is different from NTFS.

After all these years we've asked for stuff 2 be fixed & added they never listened. Now they have lost so many users they are trying 2 get back on track 2010 isnt a good way 2 do it cause it suxs & as stated riddled with errors & problems. We gave Acronic our trust more then once but they thumbed their noses at us.

BAD Error under 64 bit... tdrpm251.sys  delete it 2 at least 2 try the softwre
