Ignores Given Archive Name

Thread needs solution

In backing up my D: drive, I gave it the name "Ddisk". Everything worked as expected.
When I backed up my C: drive, I gave it the name "Cdisk". But when I checked the archive, it had been named, "PartitionC2011-08-15x.tib". That was a naming convention I used once last year.
Why does the program ignore the new name I entered? How can I get it to forget the old name?

David,

In your backup list, click on the operations link of the backup task, then choose edit backup settings. The backup configuration window will open. Click on the destination, choose browse (you might have to scroll down if you have a lot of disks).
This will open a new window. Using the left navigation window, double click your way until you have *opened* the directory you want to store your backups into (BTW, if this a new directory, create that directory before you open ATI). Then type the archive name you want in the box there. Click OK. Verify the destination is correct. Click Save.

Note: changing the destination, archive name will not perturbate ongoing chains of backups (fulls+ partials). ATI will/should remember how the chain holds together even if the disk, folder, archive name has been changed mid-course.
