Ignoring the "ignore" during recovery?
I have a 7 hour restore underway and I keep getting a message about failed file restores with an option to ignore them. The only other options are to Retry and Cancel. Is there a way to [ignore all]?

Let me answer your question.
Unfortunately, it's impossible to ignore all errors that may occur during the restore process. This was made by design, since such errors may cause recovered data corruption and render the restore useless.
Please reply to this thread if you have any additional questions.
Thank you.
May, is the right word. It's not will. I also suffered from having to click ignore a few hundred times. But the only problem afterwards was (though quite hard to find) that in WIndows a lot of folders had a 'system' attribute. I only had to set Windows to unhide systemfiles and I was able to access my files. I think an ignore all option would be very good. Let the user's decide for them selves. It's our computers and data, not Acronis'.

I agree with Bas Prins.
I have 1 hour 20 minutes to go. I want to go to bed as it is 3:30am. But I have to sit here and click ignore a million times. Crazy! I should just get a report at the end.
Even though it is coming up with errors, when I go to the directory, the files are there.

Personally, I would throw out any archive that popped up with errors but sometimes it is the one and only backup you have and you have to run with it. I agree that there should be an "ignore all" for cases like this and it should also pop up a flashing red screen to say that you may have problems with the restored files and it is not supported. I can somewhat understand why Acronis wouldn't like a blanket ignore button but there obviously is a place for it and there has to be a realization that there can be a crisis and the user will be happy to get something rather than nothing and they shouldn't have to click for every error.

Except for the strange setting of the folder attributes (in my opinion caused by the Acronis software), there was nothing wrong with any of the files. Both messing up my backup by Acronis ansd nagging me with so many error notices made me make the choice for another backup program.
So not the restore was useless as Ilya wrote, but Acronis virtually is.

Hey, I have exactly the same issue, most of the stuff that can not be recovered (were I need to click ignore) is useless Windows stuff. Can you please get the feature in the next release!

Sebastian, thank you for your posting! Added your comment as a vote for the feature request TI-207482 Silent Mode for recovery operations.

Having the same issue. This restore has been running for 24 hours and every time I turn around it's asking me what I want to do about a windows system file or thumbnail it can't restore. How is IGNORE ALL still not a feature???

Hello! That's not possible, especially for old versions of the product, as they haven't been supported and updated for quite some time. You need to monitor the recovery.
Best regards.
