Image validation not reliable

I worry about the validity of the validation of an image. I have an image with a positive validation, which however cannot be recovered. I found out that it is also not possible to mount this image (assigning drive letter fails). This actually means that I cannot rely on a positive result of a validation. I consider this as a serious bug in Acronis. Will this be fixed?
