incorrect image sizes?

Thread needs solution

I am using TI 11 home and have encountered this slightly odd problem,
I backup once a month (master/full backup) with weekly incrementals 'til month rollover. This month did my C: drive master backup. It took nearly all day - that was weird for a start, then I find the image is 125Gb (whereas the used space on the C: drive is actually 58Gb). Curious said Alice.
This weekend I carried out my first incremental - again it took 41/2 hours - this is not right. Image size also 125Gb ! This is an incremental backup - so can't be greater than 58Gb yet alone 125Gb. Something is wrong here - I would be glad of any sensible input on ths bizzare feature of TI.

PS I've used this product for years and it' been fine - but I've never seen this one before - any ideas anyone?

Looks like it encountered an error (e.g. error in filesystem structures) and switched to a sector-by-sector mode.

It might be wise to check the disk for errors.\
From a command prompt
CHKDSK X: /R     (X=actual drive letter being checked)
