Incremental backup fails and causes hard drive to run out of space
I have Acronis True Image Home 2010 set up to do an incremental backup of my single Windows 7 x64 partition to a NAS.
It runs fine for the initial full backup, although the file size is quite a bit larger than the estimated file size in the compression settings of the backup (which I have set to Normal).
However, the second time the backup runs, it goes for hours and finally fails when the NAS hard drive runs out of space. There would have been plenty of room for an incremental. It acts like it is doing another full backup.
When researching on this forum, I found a post from (I think) November where an Acronis team member stated that it is a known issue to be fixed in an upcoming release. It's been about two months since then. Does anyone know a workaround or solution, or when Acronis will release an update to True Image Home 2010? Right now I feel like I purchased a broke product.
